Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) Compliance
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Public Law 101-542) was signed into law in November 1990. At the time it was known as the Student Right to Know Campus Security Act. The law requires institutions participating in student financial aid programs under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 to disclose information about campus safety policies and procedures and to provide statistics concerning certain crimes that occurred on or near campus. In compliance with the Act, the Wentworth Public Safety Department publishes and distributes this information by October 1st of each year in our Campus Safety Brochure as well as on the Public Safety Website.
Disclosure of Disciplinary Actions
In the event a student is the victim of a violent crime committed by a fellow Wentworth student, disclosure of the results of any disciplinary proceedings can be obtained through the Dean of Students Office. A written request is required, and information will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
