Leadership Badging Program

This wellbeing-focused program enables students to earn micro-credentialing badges by participating in classes, events, and programs that align with their personal and professional goals. These four badges serve as building blocks toward earning leadership credentials and a certificate of completion, to enhance students' professional development areas of knowledge.

Students are encouraged to engage in as many opportunities offered throughout the program. Each badge builds upon the previous one, and allows personal reflection and synthesis of concepts and materials.

Each module is self-paced for students to progress through during the semester. Badges will be reviewed and earned annually, with the opportunity to earn a formal certificate and acknowledgement of their accomplishment upon completing four years of the program.

To start the program, students can enroll in the Student Wellbeing course on Brightspace.

Foundations

This Foundations badge recognizes the completion of core training in the fundamentals of Well-being. It reflects a strong understanding of mental health principles, including the importance of emotional well-being, self-care, and resilience. Badge recipients are committed to promoting mental wellness and are equipped with basic intervention strategies to support both themselves and others in fostering healthier mental and emotional environments.
