"I completed three working semesters at Wentworth. That's two of the mandatory ones and one an optional one that was offered. I started my career in Maryland and D.C. doing renovations for Medicare centers, and then I [worked] in Boston doing some residential and commercial [renovations]. So it was very cool. I got to start my career and they showed me pretty much both aspects of construction, what you need to do in the office as far as submittals, paperwork, insurance to get your to start up and running, and then the field work and being a superintendent, scheduling, getting them all their safety equipment, materials that they need to do their job effectively and safety."

I chose Wentworth for many reasons but one of them being Computer Information Systems and the learning style. I really wanted a major that gave me many skills so I could get a job in whatever I wanted, even if that was more business or technical or both. I also loved the environment at Wentworth, I saw curious people wanting to dive right in. I wanted to be surrounded by people who were also eager to be in the classroom and learn. I knew as soon as I got to campus I wanted to go to Wentworth! 

Watching students make the connection between academic topics and the real-world is exciting. Our students take both Business Management and Computing courses. They're exposed to a breadth of disciplines and graduate with a unique ability to apply technology to solve business problems.
