Housing Selection Process

Returning Students Planning to Live on Campus

• Housing for Fall 2025 semester (continuing students)

  Step One: Housing Agreement 

  Housing agreements open at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, and are due at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 7.

  Please visit your myHousing portal to submit your housing agreement.

  Housing Agreement Completion Instructions: 

  • Log on to myHousing portal using your WIT credentials 
  • Once logged in, click “Housing Agreements” on the left menu 
  • Click “Fall 2025 Housing Agreement” 
  • Read the Fall 2025 Housing Agreement terms and details, and sign your name 
  • Complete the subsequent information pages, and select your meal plan 
  • Click submit!

  Step Two: Roommate/Suitemate Matching

  Students have the option to match up with roommates and suitemates. The roommate/suitemate matching opens at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, and is due at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 7.

  Roommate/Suitemate Matching Instructions:

  • Log on to myHousing portal using your WIT credentials 
  • Once logged in, click “Roommate & Room Selection” on the left menu 
  • Click “Select Roommates” 
  • Select Fall 2025
  • Search for a roommate by name or by attributes from their agreement

  Step Three: Housing Selection Information: 

  Students can select their own room. They will also have the ability to assign their roommate and/or suitemates as long as everyone is matched in the myHousingportal. Housing selection will begin the week of February 17.

  Housing Selection Instructions: 

  • Log on to myHousing portal using your WIT credentials 
  • Once logged in, click “Roommate & Room Selection” on the left menu 
  • Click “Select a Room/Suite” 
  • Search for rooms/suites that will fit your matched group. If you cannot find a space to fit everyone, you do have the option to split the group into different suites. 

  Important Billing Information: 

  The Fall 2025 student EBill becomes available on June 15, 2025 and is due on August 1. This billing date is set by the Student Accounts office.  

  Housing and meal plan rates can be found here. 

  We advise students to share this billing information with individuals (e.g. parents, guardians) who assist with the payment of tuition, room, and board charges. 

  General Information: 

  • All residential students are required to purchase a meal plan. Meal plan options have recently changed -- for more information regarding meal plan and housing costs, please visit here. 
  • Please note that Housing and Residential Education works hard to accommodate all housing requests whenever possible. Your patience and understanding are appreciated. 
  • Students anticipating a need for housing accommodations should contact Accessibility Services in the Success Studio at accessibilityservices@wit.edu or (617) 989-4545.  
  • The priority deadline for requesting medical housing accommodations through Accessibility Services for the Fall 2025 term is February 4.
