Meliti Dikeos

Meliti D. Dikeos, Assistant Professor, has been teaching architecture since 2012 in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.  For seventeen years prior, she practiced at Tappé Architects in Boston, specializing in the design of public schools, libraries, and other facilities, including the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.  Her projects received numerous AIA awards and have been featured in publications including The New York Times and ARTnews.  She has spent her career balancing the artistry of hand-drawing with digital capabilities and prioritizes this challenge in her teaching.  Her academic interests include the social and political history of architecture, precedent studies, and tectonics.  Meliti has an MArch degree from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from Wellesley College, where she majored in Art History and French, with a concentration in architectural history.
