Georgetown Study Ranks Wentworth in Top National ROI Percentage

Wentworth Institute of Technology students are receiving a high return on investment for their education.   

According to 2025 data from Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW Georgetown)—whose “College Scorecard” ranks 4,600 colleges by ROI each year, Wentworth is named in the Top 4 percent nationally, in the category of mid-career ROI, at 20 years post-graduation. CEW Georgetown additionally notes that, at 40 years post-graduation, Wentworth graduates have an ROI of $2.7 million.  

Statistically, Wentworth students consistently demonstrate strong earning potential, highlighted by: 

  • A median salary of $71,000 for the Class of 2023, upon graduation  

  • A 93% rate of employment or graduate school enrollment for the Class of 2023  

  • Ninety-eight percent of 2023 graduates working in their field or major 

The recent data released by the CEW Georgetown underscores the value of a Wentworth education for students.
