Pumpkin Innovation 2023

Teams of Wentworth Institute of Technology students were given a pumpkin, three days, and the use of space, materials, and tools, to create the most innovative pumpkin that they can come up with. Accelerate’s space was the inspiration for this year's contest.

Winners were selected across two categories—mechanical and non-mechanical—and are chosen by a select group of expert judges. The contest was originally inspired by NASA’s annual pumpkin carving competition.
