Wentworth Recognized Among Best Colleges in U.S., Celebrates Record-Breaking Autumn
This fall, Wentworth Institute of Technology continues to excel, earning recognition on numerous "Best Of" lists while also celebrating milestones in student enrollment.
Wentworth appeared on top colleges lists from the likes of U.S. News and World Report, The Wall Street Journal, Princeton Review, and Forbes, to name a few. Below is a selection of where the university has appeared.
Wall Street Journal: Named to the 2025 Best Colleges in America list and considered a top university in the categories of Student Experience, Best Salaries, Social Mobility, and Best Value
U.S. News and World Report: Notable climbs in the categories of Undergraduate Engineering Programs, Best Colleges for Veterans, and Best Value Schools, as well as being named to Top Performers on Social Mobility, Regional Universities, and Undergraduate Computer Science Programs
Forbes: Named to the Top Colleges 2025, Top Private Colleges, and Top 100 Northeast Colleges lists
Princeton Review: For the 20th straight year, Wentworth was named to the publication’s Best Colleges list, and additionally appears on the Green Colleges list

The recent rankings come as Wentworth set new milestones with the Class of 2028, including an 11% increase in new incoming first-year students from last year, a 53% increase in new transfer students, and a 5% increase in new graduate students.
And the recent Fall 2024 Co-ops & Careers Fair drew a record-breaking turnout.
