Community + Learning Partnerships
Since 2000, Community + Learning Partnerships, better known as CLP, has been Wentworth's community engagement arm and the hub for college access + success of Boston residents. Wentworth, through CLP, started with community engagement as the core of its local impact, offering the expertise of our students, faculty, and staff to support the needs of Boston residents. In 2011, Wentworth added the Boston Pipeline to CLP's repertoire, strengthening our founding as an institution focused on providing technical education to Boston learners.

Educate. Build. Transform.
Wentworth has a long-standing commitment to making a difference in our local communities. With a rich history of engaging its neighbors in the local community, Wentworth strengthens “town/gown” relationships and creates long-term partnerships with community residents, organizations, and businesses alike.
Through the Center for Community + Learning Partnerships (CLP), Wentworth has enabled prospective, current, and past Wentworth students, staff and faculty, and our external partners to participate in a wide range of proven early college opportunities and transformative, community-driven experiences.
The Boston Pipeline
Wentworth, through the CLP, is committed to helping Boston Public School students from neighboring communities create pathways to college and career success. To help them achieve these important goals, we offer several programs as part of our Boston Pipeline Initiative that local youth can participate in, gaining unprecedented experience in an early college environment.
Co+build: Engage with the Local Community
At Wentworth, community engagement is projects and programs that build capacity by collaborating with local communities to offer resources that help address neighborhood challenges. With students focused on design, engineering, technology, and management, Wentworth's team offers a unique skillset to Boston.
