Helping Boston Youth Prepare for College 

The Center for Community and Learning Partnerships (CLP) is committed to helping Boston Public School students from neighboring communities create pathways to college and career success. To help them achieve these important goals, we offer several programs as part of our Boston Pipeline Initiative that local youth can participate in: 

Dual Credit 

The Dual Credit program allows juniors and seniors from partners Boston high schools to earn college credit while simultaneously receiving credit toward a high school diploma. This program is aimed at students who have an interest in Wentworth and the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields (STEM). 

RAMP  

RAMP is a six-week, pre-college, summer bridge program for Boston residents who will be attending Wentworth in the fall as first-year students and majoring in STEM disciplines.

Beacon Pathways

A collaboration between Boston Public Schools and Wentworth that aims to increase the attendance, retention and graduation rates of youth from Boston and increase the number of students pursuing degrees that reflect the economic needs of the city. 

Dual Credit

Prepares Boston high school juniors and seniors for college through an authentic classroom experience while providing them with the opportunity to earn dual credit, both in high school and toward a future college degree.

RAMP

Our innovative pre-college summer bridge for Boston youth is designed to help students navigate the transition from high school to college, providing them with project-based, hands-on learning.

Year 13

A “gap” year opportunity for recent Boston Public high school graduates that exposes them to careers within Boston’s innovation economy.
